represent to the Secretary of State for the

Colonies, the desirability of urging the

Colonial Government to withdraw those condi-

tions which do not seem necessary where the

supply is by meter and on payment and where

there is every reason for economizing.

To forego the use of the filtered water in

anticipation of receiving which about £31 under

item 1 Barrack Annual Estimate 93-94 Part II

have been spent in laying down pipes, fittings,

etc., and to continue the use of the water to

be obtained from wells which is not so pure or

so reliable as to quantity Я course which

is undesirable.
